Dealers Information
The Dealer's Room is open from 10-6 on Saturday and 10-6 on Sunday. As per your requests there will now be set-up times available on Friday evening from 5:30pm through 9:30 pm. There will be a surcharge of $20 for any dealer wishing to set up on Friday evening to help cover the cost of reserving the hall for that night.
A UCon staff-person will also be on site at the loading bay to let you in on Friday night and on Saturday at 7:00 am. There are several push carts available for loading, but they are under heavy demand by all the dealers. It is wise to bring your own hand truck.
Cost of TablesTable rates are $65 for a standard 6' table with chairs. You may request a location in the Dealers Hall, though to avoid confusion please return your copy of the floor plan with your confirmation. Clearly label the approximate areas of your top three choices for location. We will make every effort to accommodate your wishes, but remember that we will be favoring confirmations in the order received. UCon reserves the right to assign location as necessary as the hall fills, so get your confirmations in early.
There is a 10% discount for every table over the first four.
PaymentA 50% non-refundable deposit is due at the time of reservation. Payment may be made via a check made payable to UCON and sent to the address in the contact information section. The balance will be due by dealers hall closing on Saturday. Alternative arrangements may be made by contacting John Lewis
Paying Via
Merchandise
Often businesses will inquire about paying for space in the dealers hall
with prize support or product. While UCON would like to be as
accommodating as possible, this is not always possible. We are not
currently accepting prizes or product in lieu of payment for table
space.
On the other hand we may be able to accept prize support in exchange for
ad space in the program depending on availability of booklet space.
Remember that ³specific product² is appealing only to a small
number of
attendees, and gift certificates to a dealer table with 1 or 2 products
are of limited use for prizes. We will consider these offers against our
current needs at the time we are initially contacted regarding it.
Obviously, if your product can be paired with an existing event or if a
gift certificate is valued towards a wide selection of products, we will
more readily accept them in place of cash. Value of merchandise against
fees has traditionally been accepted at a ratio of 2:1. We are, of
course, open to negotiation depending on the applicability of the
merchandise to our needs versus your cost. If you are interested in this

Advertising in
the Con or Pre-Reg Books
The Pre-Reg book has a print run of 2500, is a black and white
advertisement mailed DIRECTLY to over 1500 gamers, and is available at
numerous local comic and game stores. The Con Book has print run of
1000, and the books are handed out directly at game stores, other
conventions, and at UCon itself. There is no more effective way to get
your message directly into the hands of your potential customers.
